Me again - bored out of my brains at work. Only another 3 or so hours to go. My boss is on friendsreunited.co.uk so I have taken that to mean I can take the piss on the internet too without being told off. So here I am. He's gone off for a wander now.

My backside and thighs are killing me from my bad dash last night. Escalators really are quite difficult to run up when you're wearing a big parka and are weighed down with a heavy bag. There is also something in the sole of my boot - I think its where I have worn down the inside bit - which is digging into the ball of my foot. So if you see me walking strangely I don't have ricketts, "its the shoes...!"

We have some cracking prizes to give away this month so make sure you log on on Sunday and enter straight away! We are anticipating that every Dave Gorman fan on the planet will check the site out at some point so that's exciting. Hopefully they will come back and look at the site in the future. They are all very welcome.

Its now about 1.5 hrs since I started writing this post. Time to go - I am boring myself now.

Would you look at me showing off... 5 days in a row at work and not a single day off. And what's more I'll have done 39.5 hours rather than 35. Nice. I would like to thank my parents for dragging me out of bed when the going got tough, and I've like to thank Connex South Eastern whose delays give me extra napping/listening to Xfm time.

BREAKING NEWS
I have been given the week off over new year so we still don't know how long I will be in this delightful pen-pushing environment. Still, it could be worse. I am not quite sure how though.

Went to the recording of "Tonight with Jonathan Ross" last night courtesy of the wonderful Helena, my new friend who is brilliant. We watched it in the green room don't you know but not until we'd rambled round TVcentre, into the restaurant block and into the BBC Canteen. Hooray. I have fulfilled a life-long ambition and I managed to spot no famouses. The food was incredibly nice and I intend to get a job with the BBC for this very reason. (Not really... please let me on the BBC gravy train). We settled down to eat and when Lee Evans got to Jonathan's couch I had to put my food down and concentrate on not laughing too much and looking like a complete goon. He was so brilliant, but then he always is. And obviously, he is the nicest man in the whole world. Anastacia was a good laugh and Terry Wogan was just how you would expect the silver fox to be. And then Turin Brakes played out. I don't think I could have picked a better show to see.

Sat and had a few beers and met some very nice people but didn't quite get round to saying hello to Turin Brakes. Oh well. Half-killed myself running up escalators at London Bridge in order to catch my train but I managed it with a few seconds to spare. The man I sat next to must have thought I was a bit of a perv, sitting next to him breathing very heavily.

Got home and ate pasta bolognese. What a fun day. And tonight I am going to the Take the Mike final, again with my new friend Helena, who is ace.

Got my train tickets today. How exciting. This must be the earliest I have ever known where I am going to be at new year. Rock on!

Four days in a row - I am on fire. Asked for new years week off work (I am a temp) and haven't had an answer yet. I am told it shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, due to the demand for train tickets to Edinburgh soon to be outweighed by demand I have purchased my ticket today. I have discovered a new ticket called Off-Peak 1st which is about £10 more expensive than usual plebby ticket so I will be travelling up in style. Did I mention I decided on Tuesday that I would finally spend a new year in Edinburgh - my spiritual home? So I either get new years eve off or my days here are numbered. Don't be upset, it's giving me something to work towards and make sure I don't spend all my wages before I leave this inspirational and thoroughly enjoyable job.

Jonathan Glasgow, Nice Mum's "fictional" friend has been emailing me. He is "stuck" in Norway and can't get in touch with the boys. Its a tragedy but it is keeping me qiuite entertained.

I went to the Big Gig last night and it was fantastic. I laughed very much indeed. John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman were their usual stunningly funny selves, Oram and Meeten continue to get funnier and funnier and Simon Farbany, Waen Shepherd and Nice MUm all deserve a special mention or being brilliant too. It's funny how I have developed such a penchant for sketch comedy. Also the guy who does Dylan (sorry I can't remember his name) did another character (whose name I also can't remember) and it was really really god. Could he become the Steve Coogan of the new millennium? Well, possibly but lets not get carried away.

I won a beanie hat on the Xfm breakfast session today - Christian read out my email and they were all in agreement that I should get one. I am very excited and I should think that the next time you see me I will be wearing afore-mentioned hat so be sure not to laugh and point, but come and say hello and tell me you like it a lot.

I also got in last night to find a package awaiting me. How my mother resisted opening it, i shall never know. It turned out to be a box of chocolates from Natwest bank. Lindt ones as well which are the only chocolate I particularly like (I am more of a savory girl). It was by way of an apology for the crap servic they have given me. I wrote them a letter to complain you see - I am turning into my mother in my old age!

I am very bored today. Not much to do. If you' like to email me at boredboredbored@comedylounge.co.uk in order to cause me some distraction then please do.

My what fun. I have managed to be at work for 2 consecutive days now.. I am thinking I must be approaching some sort of personal best if I make it in tomorrow. Things are pretty boring at work but otherwise everything is very exciting and I am very happy and having a lot of fun to boot. (If you discount the fact that I spend 35 of my precious waking hours moving bits of paper around a desk and staring at a screen whilst possibly getting repetitive strain injury). The outlook for my banking career is bleak and I am determined to get out in time for being 2* in January. It's something to aim for anyway.

And on top of that we have the new issue of the Lounge going online on Sunday. Most of it is written and we are doing the finishing touches. We are both very proud and can't wait for it to be done so we can sit back, relax and give ourselves a good old self-congratularoty pat on the back and forget that its taken us 3 months to getting around to doing it.

And we saw the venue on sunday, looks quite cool. We'll make it look snazzier though. Very exciting. Intrigued? Make sure you see the new issue to know what I'm blathering on about!

Hola. I am coming to you live from a very dull and quiet office in London's historical Tower Hill. My boss is out and I am bored bored bored. Fantabulous news though, I am going to the announcement of the nominees for this years British Comedy Awards. Unfortunately I am looking rather worse for wear and have still not quite recovered from being squished to a pulp at a Suede gig on saturday but I'll battle on.

To gauge how bored I actually am let me tell you that I have run out of things to look at on the net and in fact am even bored of the internet. If you have any suggestions of things for me to look at please send them to susan@comedylounge.co.uk

Just to reiternate, the new issue will be hitting your screens on Sunday 1 December (maybe the day before if you're lucky) and will be packed full to the brim.
