Hello there, lovely readers of the comedy lounge blog.
We desperately need some help with a feature we're trying to organise and thought that maybe you, the lovely readers, could help us, the lovely ladies. There's a prize in it for you.
We are trying to get in touch with the lovely Joe Rooney and the lovely Patrick McDonnell, as we would really love to interview them for an upcoming issue. Unfortunately we've had no luck so far.
If you know Joe or Patrick, if you are Joe or Patrick, or if you just walk past Joe or Patrick on the street, we'd really appreciate it if you could point them in our direction, and contact us on info@comedylounge.co.uk.
Many thanks!

Congratulations to Stewart Graham Lee and Richard Thomas, seen here winning their award for Best New Musical for Jerry Springer The Opera. To celebrate their magnificent achievement, Susan and Sharon intend to spend the journey from London to Holyhead next Saturday performing extracts from the musical to stunned passengers on the train.

We shalln't be commenting on the Chortle awards as we didn't attend this year, well OK we will... Well done to Alex Horne (and Tim Key) for winning Best Breakthrough Act, whatever that actually means. Alex and Tim won best show and best newcomer at the Comedy Lounge awards (which are far more prestigious and offer something a little more useful than a block of perspex with a logo on it) back in August and without having even seen the new one we are predicting huge things of them in 2004 - and remember we told you. Therefore we are best than Chortle. We also tipped Gary Le Strange well before there were even any rumours floating around about the Perrier and of course we saw Jeremy Lions numerous times during the festival. Therefore we am the best comedy website run by two girls in different countries who don't get paid for it. We're not bitter.

Hello there.
This site seems to be receiving an enormous amount of hits, so I thought I would help you lovely people out by showing you some other sites you would adore just as much as this one.
Namely: The Comedy Lounge Girls and Their Blogs. Yes, that's right, both Susan and Sharon have their own individual nonsense in which they gibber about their daily lives in altogether too much detail.
Susan's is The Optimist.
Sharon's is Dreadful Nonsense.
Go to them. Read their magic. Learn from their wisdom.
Many thanks.
